What are you getting your hiking kids this year?

  1. Another good idea for kids a little older (6-12) is a fort building book. I can't wait to see what my kids do with the one I bought them this year!

Hi Birch. I have nominated your blog as a Liebster Blog (it means "dearest"). Here are the details about the award, a graphic to put on your blog, and some other tasks to do if you choose: http://backpackingkids.wordpress.com/2012/12/09/liebster-blog-nominees/

Also, if you want to read my responses to the questions that were asked of me when I was given this award, you can read that here: http://backpackingkids.wordpress.com/2012/12/03/its-a-major-award/

Thanks for the great stories, and keep them coming! :-)

    1. How is that going so far? Boo really wants a tree house, and, thinking of you I countered with a fort under the bushes. We are plotting, as it's currently either cold or mucky here.
